2018 PRADO | 96+ Points

Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2018 Prado displays a deep garnet-purple color. The nose begins a little closed and broody, soon unfurling to reveal earthy notes of fragrant soil, black truffles, and tar over a core of plum preserves, warm cassis, and wild blueberries, plus suggestions of red roses and cedar chest. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has a firm structure of ripe, grainy tannins and bold freshness supporting the muscular black fruits, finishing long and earthy.

2018 BLOCK FIVE | 94+ Points

Produced from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2018 Block Five sports a deep garnet-purple color. It leaps from the glass with notions of blackcurrant pastilles, Black Forest cake, and mulberries with hints of unsmoked cigars, forest floor, black truffles, and beef drippings. Medium to full-bodied, rich, and seductive in the mouth, the ripe, juicy black fruit layers are supported by approachable, grainy tannins and seamless freshness, finishing long and with great poise.

2018 Lady of the Dead | 92 Points

The 2018 Cabernet Blend Lady of the Dead is composed of 66% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Syrah, 5% Petite Sirah, 3% Carignan, 3% Mourvedre, and 1% Graciano. Deep garnet-purple in color, it sails out of the glass with notions of warm cassis, wild blueberries, and red roses plus hints of chocolate mint and cedar. Medium to full-bodied, the palate delivers a great intensity of pure, bright black fruits with a refreshing backbone and soft tannins, finishing long and perfumed.

2018 RESERVA | 95 Points | 2021 Spring Release

Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2018 Reserva (made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon) comes barreling out of the glass with profound scents of fresh, ripe blackcurrants, warm black plums, boysenberries, and tilled soil with hints of Indian spices, cast-iron pan, and pencil lead. The medium to full-bodied palate is elegantly played, refreshing, and chock-full of energetic black fruits, textured by velvety tannins, finishing long and layered.

2018 SMD | 94 Points | 2021 Spring Release

The 2018 SMD bursts from the glass with ripe black and red cherries, lilacs, dark chocolate, and licorice notes plus hints of cedar and pencil lead. Medium to full-bodied, fresh, finely grained, and elegant, the palate offers a great intensity of crunchy black and red fruits, finishing long and fragrant.
